Terms of Service for Mansfield Precision Lawncare & Landscaping

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Mansfield Precision Lawncare & Landscaping (“we,” “our,” “us”) services. By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Services Provided
We offer professional lawn care, landscaping, and junk removal services. Specific services, timelines, and costs are outlined in the individual service agreements or estimates provided to clients.
2. Quotes and Estimates
Accuracy of Estimates: All quotes are based on information provided by the client. Additional charges may apply for unforeseen conditions or requested changes.
Change Orders: Any changes to the original scope of work will require a written change order approved by the client before any additional work begins.
Validity: Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise specified.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
Provide accurate information about the property and project.
Allow reasonable access to the property during agreed service times.
Ensure the property is free of hazards, such as locked gates, obstructing vehicles, or unsecured pets, that may endanger our team or delay work.
Pick up all dog toys, debris, and personal items from the service area. While our team will move visible items if necessary, we are not liable for any damage to items left in the yard.
Comply with payment terms as outlined in Section 6.
4. Scheduling and Cancellations
Scheduling: Appointments are scheduled based on availability. Delays caused by weather, unforeseen circumstances, or client rescheduling may affect timelines. We will provide at least a 24 hour notice when applicable.
Cancellations: Clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations may incur a fee of up to 25% of the quoted service cost.
No-Show Policy: If our team arrives at the property and cannot complete the work due to locked gates, obstructing vehicles, or other access issues, a no-show fee of $50 may apply. Routine services, such as lawn care, will proceed as scheduled if the property is accessible.
5. Warranties and Guarantees
Landscaping Services: We offer a 1-year warranty on plants and materials installed by our team, provided clients do not alter or interfere with the installation (e.g., adding mulch or rocks).
Lawn Care Services: We do not guarantee results impacted by client care practices, weather conditions, or pre-existing property conditions.
Exclusions: Damage caused by natural disasters, pests and diseases, or third-party work is not covered.
6. Payment Terms
Invoices: Clients will receive invoices upon service completion or as outlined in their service agreement.
Due Dates: Payment is due upon completion of services. Payments are considered late after 14 days from the invoice date.
Late Payments: A late fee of 5% of the outstanding balance may be applied for overdue payments.
Deposits: A deposit may be required for larger projects. Deposits are non-refundable if the client cancels within 7 days of the scheduled start date.
7. Liability
Property Damage: While we take every precaution, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or damage resulting from hazardous property conditions.
Yard Items: Clients are responsible for removing personal items such as dog toys, hoses, or other objects from the service area. If items are left in the yard, we will attempt to move visible items but are not liable for damage to unseen items.
Injury Liability: Clients are responsible for ensuring safe conditions for our team on their property.
Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or damages caused by events beyond our control, such as extreme weather or supply chain disruptions.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute:
Clients agree to notify us in writing within 14 days of the issue.
We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably.
If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be settled through arbitration in Mansfield, Connecticut.
9. Content and Advertising Rights
Yard Signs: We reserve the right to place yard signs on the property during and immediately after project completion.
Photos and Videos: We reserve the right to take photographs, videos, and audio recordings of the property and the work performed before, during, and after completion.
Content Usage: By engaging our services, you agree that we may use this content for advertising, social media, portfolio showcases, and other promotional purposes. If you wish to opt out, please notify us in writing prior to the start of the project.
10. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate services if clients violate these Terms or fail to meet payment obligations. Clients may terminate services by providing written notice. Any work completed up to the date of termination will be invoiced.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
